About this event
Join Paws with Cause and Seattle Public Library's Summer Quest program for this fun event that combines art, animals, and a reason to paw-ty with a purpose! In this casual and fun painting experience, participants will get a chance to paint a portrait based on a real shelter pet to help local animals get adopted. Lead docents will be around to help. This event is free and open to participants of all ages and experience levels.
All materials will be provided. No real animals will be onsite.
Event location
This event is located inside the Wing Luke Museum (719 S King St). Please check in at the Museum front desk when you arrive. If you would like to visit the rest of the Museum exhibits, you can ask for a wristband for free admission at the front desk. The Museum is open until 8PM this evening.
Registration Information
RSVP encouraged to save a spot, otherwise any unreserved spots available will be first-come, first-serve. You may call (206) 623-5124 x202 for help reserving a spot or checking on availability. No-shows will have their seats released at 6:15pm to waitlisted guests.
Please note: There is no phone or online waitlist for this event, an in-person waitlist will be available at the museum starting at 10am and waitlisted guests will be contacted at 6:15pm. We encourage you to come by to visit the museum as admission will be free from 5-8pm as part of First Thursdays through October 2026.
