Join us to learn more about the impacts of redlining (ie., the practice of neighborhood covenants created to exclude people of color from settling in particular areas) on African American and Asian American communities in central Seattle. We will also have information on the Redlining Heritage Trail, a collection of urban walks in Seattle that highlight how communities, despite being confined within redlined zones, built their lives with determination, purpose, and institutions that empower communities to this day.

The Wing Luke Museum and Black Heritage Society of Washington State are Community Partners for this event.
