This event is no longer on sale.
Our New Year Celebration is going virtual!
This year we bring you your favorite activities through the safety of your screens - at home. Visit with our staff as we learn about the Lunar New Year of the Ox and learn how other Asian Americans celebrate different new year traditions - all year round.
Programming for Saturday, February 13th includes:
- Pre-recorded includes Shishi Mai lion blessing; Seattle Channel's LQ Lion Team, community new year videos and calligraphy lessons.
- Live portions includes craft instruction and lesson and a question and answer session with a local martial arts lion dance instructor
After registration, you will:
- Receive a confirmation email from us which includes a Zoom link to view the 1 to 3pm PST programming on Saturday. You will be able to interact with our staff during the program.
- This link registers you for a free craft kit(s) mailed to your preferred address. Kits will be mailed out once a week. Instructions will be given LIVE, during our New Year Festivities programming.
- *Pending availability, kits ordered after Monday, February 8 can only be picked up in-person at the Wing Luke Museum Marketplace during their open hours.
